Céliane is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She obtained her Masters in Counselling from Trinity Western University, and holds a Bachelor of International Studies and languages from Laval University. Working from a humanistic-existential approach, she specializes in Lifespan Integration, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) with mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

Céliane feels strongly about providing a safe space, compassionate, and warm environment where people can connect with their inner truths, be seen, find and use their voices and power and take a stand in their life, as well as find the support and safety that they need to move forward with greater resilience and authenticity. She strives to work from a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive stance. Having grown up in an environment where mental health was highly misunderstood and stigmatized, Céliane is aware of power dynamics that can lead to harm rather than healing.

Drawing from various experiences working with marginalized individuals, Céliane strives to invite clients to explore their unique and personal experiences in a safe and open environment. She considers individuals as relational beings in constant interaction with themselves, others, and the world – emotions, values and spirituality included – while on a quest for wholeness, balance, and health; a process which can also be disrupted by traumatic experiences. She strives to help individuals move toward (re)connection.

Celiane provides in person counselling at the Surrey and the Abbotsford offices in English and French.
